More and more our company Engels is asked to provide solutions for the multi use packaging of dangerous goods or special substances, like human medical specimen

A few years ago, we decided to redesign our ADR approved pallet boxes, used for transport of substances like medical waste, special household and laboratory waste from strap versions to versions with triangular key locks. These quickly became the standard in France.

This success motivated us to invest in new range of ADR approved transport boxes with hinged lids, secured by triangular key locks. This replaces our classic construction with straps. Naturally, an ADR approval guarantees sturdiness, but we succeeded in adding impressive extra features:

  • Family of 600x400 footprint, heights in between 185 and 440 mm, agreed up to 30 kg
  • Packaging of 4H2 type for solids, but from stock available with diverse interiors, like isothermal foam and/or grids for bottles, ready for testing as a dedicated fluids or medical samples packaging
  • Extremely strong construction, the hinged lids will take loads up to 250 kilo!
  • Exterior of the boxes flat and smooth, no seals, tape or wrapping needed
  • Rainwater tight and dustproof design (IP 43) Naturally, you do not need to transport dangerous goods to appreciate these boxes. They will protect expensive tools, valuables or confidential files just as safely.
