Engels has been proving it's an innovative company for years. Since one new product developed for one company might be usable for someone else, we publish our custom made and new products and larger products on our website. We often offer this news as a press release aswell. Below you can find a chronological summary.
Upon successful completion of a selection procedure and bidding via a tender, Engels Logistics NV was retained as a candidate and after additional steps, which including delivery of a prototype, was awarded the contract.
Projects like this one for NMBS are exactly what Engels does best.
This project takes advantage of all the strengths of the Engels Group: providing creative solutions, involving a combination of injection moulding and vacuum forming of plastics; production of metal components; assembly of the various components into a complete unit; and ultimately the phased delivery to the customer’s locations.
The waste bins for the NMBS were designed and developed entirely in-house, beginning with a thorough analysis that led to a design, followed by conversion of this design to a production model using our own CAD system. Engels has its own production department for its metal products in Selmsdorf, 
Germany, where the latest equipment is utilised.
This allows us to maintain short lines of communication between the various production processes and enables us to work efficiently and effectively towards the realisationof a new product. 
The first models have since been delivered and placed in the various stations in Belgium.
