29 July 2010 - WEEE scheme for Energy saving lamps and Neon Tubes well under way in France

A new global public-private initiative has been launched to address the issue of electronic and electrical waste (WEEE). Recylum collects all the neon tubes and energy saving lamps in France, and Engels is supplying the containers to transport them.

In October 2006 we obtained the Recylum (www.recylum.com) contract for supplying in an extreme rush 1300 containers for neon tubes and 1000 for energy saving lamps. We delivered in November.

Since then we supplied Recylum to their full satisfaction 4000 pieces. It is a real environmentally friendly product: made fully of easily recyclable plastic, lightweight, sizes exactly adapted to transport of neon tubes, thus avoiding unneccesary transport. With a lid that offers easy use and pallet feet adapted to any kind of forklift trucks/trolleys. Collapsible for saving on storing and transport volume when empty.
