Why plastic export pallets?
More and more country's are agreeing on laws regarding the prevention of the spread of dangerous animals, bacteria and fungi in international trade, the ISPM 15 directive. In a nutshell this means that wooden pallet's have to be cleaned regularly, a problem you don't have with plastic pallet's.
Nestable export pallet's
Nestable export pallet's are pallet's that save storage space when empty by partially sliding into each other. These pallet's are very light but strong enough for normal handling. When empty they barely take up storage space, and because the lack of runner's these are the cheapest models.
Exportpallet's with runner's
Traditionally exportpallet's are held up by legs, but sometimes this just won't do, when block stacking for example (when pallet's are stacked on the content of the pallet below). When transporting dangerous substances it's also become illegal to stack multiple pallet's. This is why pallets as a interlayer are mandatory. Without runners pallet's don't stack stable enough. This is why we supply them with runner's in several version's; 3 strips or the entire bottom for optimal distribution of it's load on the pallet below.
